I was shocked when I came to MS today.
Then, we decided to cool off in the water part of the park and not to our surprised, no slides were open, only the wave pool and one body slide.
The quality of the park depends on the day you attend, but 9/10 it will be mediocre.
I do however enjoy the park occasionally on weekdays but they are short on staff and ride closures are common then.
Very disappointed. Came to enjoy my time while down here. Instead we were greeted with lines and ride controllers with no sense of urgency. Waited in line for an hour for one ride when it could have been reduced by better training. I understand safety is important but I've been to other parks where the operators were urgent in getting people on the ride while making sure everyone is safe. Was here for 3 hours and only got to ride 2 rides. Plus there is no control. Stood in line while harassed and cussed at by teenagers and the staff...who was literally standing by the whole thing....did nothing. Very disappointed 0/10. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
We could barely even leave the park since so many people clogged the walkways and would run out in front of everybody who walked past.
I highly advise to stay clear of this area on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, and days when they have concerts planned.
We could barely find parking and had to wait 15 minutes just for one space to open. We then proceeded to go look for a single ride, out of the very few that they have, that didn't have a massive line. From previous experiences we were reluctant to go on the rides due to how poor of a condition most of them were in, almost always leaving us in pain.
Contrary to other reviews on this site, I do enjoy the food and the pricing seems reasonable. I do think the admission price is outrageous to be raised even though they have removed plenty of their rides.
The staff did not make the experience better, they seemed stressed and untrained for what they were doing.
If you go specifically for the rides, don't plan to stay long as there is little for teenagers and adults other than the X-Coaster and the Gauntlet.
Groupon save me plenty of money and please take ur on food cuz theirs cost alot but we had a ball and will be going back
Had a great time with kids. Be prepared to walk a lot. Also, pack lunch or pay more for not so great food.
Parts of the park are showing it's age, but it's a good time during the summer. It would be nice if the park offered unlimited soft drinks/ sunscreen similar to Holiday World included in the price.
