Always gets you in late. You pay for an hour service and only get 40 mins. They take along time to get you in for needed medication.
This is my only choice for mental health care in Hot Springs because it's literally my only choice. They can't keep adequately licensed therapists and your options are extremely limited if you're on Medicare. They are perfectly willing to prescribe psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, "mood stabilizers", antipsychotic meds, etc. but nothing that actually helps more than it hurts. Patients are all treated like convicted addicts, so no benzodiazepines are prescribed regardless of medical need. Poor communication between doctor and therapist. Generally feel that Medicare is billed regularly while my needs go largely unaddressed and/or ignored. It's all about the money.
Was just here and noticed no seating outside. I was thinking of trying this place but I ride public transportation and can't stand for long periods. Not handicap friendly.
Wonderful group of people. I have received very good counseling services here. They know what they are doing and I got better in a short amount of time.
Do not go here if you are a minor seeking help for your first time. When scheduling, a worker told me people with depression are easier to deal with because you only have to listen to them whine. The atmosphere was cold and lazy. They didn't bother to help me as I was sitting in a financial room scheduling most of the time.
