Fantastic place to stay I would highly recommend it to anyone! Many great memories made here and a fantastic view of the lake.
Sunbay Resort is conveniently located on the shores of Lake Hamilton. Almost all rooms will afford fantastic views of the lake from either the west, south, or the east. The rooms are wonderfully furnished to provide you with a nostalgic retro feeling of a simpler time with mirrored walls and jacuzzi tubs. The king bed is oversized and luxurious, they even provide a step stool for the shorter ones in your party to scale the heights of the four-poster frame. The staff is always helpful and pleasant and furnish you a binder upon check in with all the information you will need in case you are the type to avoid human contact after checking in.
Rooms were clean, staff helpful. Only complaint was that even though other rooms were open, ours was the only one with 2 HVAC units on the deck. Too noisy and hot so we didnt get to sit out and enjoy the view.
Nice view of the boats and nice waterfall. Mon thru Th daily activity for kids of all ages. Daily paper delivered, very unique stone floor, mirrored living room ( makes it look extra large), and a bedroom with 4 poster bed and 6×5 spa tub + shower. Quiet at night, curtains can block lights. Has a pool and hot tub in main building. At my visit the Pulse gym across the street had been damaged so was closed. Right on a main street. 4 resale shops within 3 miles. Kroger about 1.5 miles. Walmart about 2 miles.
Clean spacious condo units on Lake Hamilton. Close to downtown Hot Springs and Oaklawn Race track and casino. Very nice.
