It is an extremely small mall, yet still has a few of the major chain stores. Dillards, Sears, and JCPenny are the main anchor stores. There are also plenty of other smaller, name brand stores like American Eagle, Foot Locker, Victoria's Secret, etc.
It needs an updating so bad. It would not surprise me if it is torn down. I don't know why who ever owns it doesn't update it? It's not the shops fault obviously. It's literally the mall that I'm talking about itself. The shops aren't bad. What shops that are still open.
They don't really have a food court, but there are several pretty good places to eat scattered throughout the mall. For Hot Springs, it's a pretty good mall, and you hardly ever have to fight the crowds like in larger malls.
For a truly persistent image of the American condition, visit this spacious, mostly empty mall with amenities such as closed stores, empty stores, and a Sears with the most solemn environment I've ever experienced. See the Chinese-produced goods priced very high in preparation for massive markdowns for Black Friday. See the group of teens waiting on the curb outside for a ride, direction in life, or a handout. We have reached peak post-American dream times, and this is one of the best places to experience it.
It still employs people which is a good thing. However it is going down hill. I would love to see a new mall here in Hot Springs that would meet the needs of the people that live here, such as jobs, and also give our tourist a awesome place to shop. I'm sorry to see so many negative reviews but I agree it is time to tear it down and rebuild a new mall.
I discovered that Reba has a clothing line. It is offered at Dillards. It falls along "country" lines but it is VERY Cute!!. Prices were pretty upscale also. But if your a country girl its worth a look.
