The staff was very friendly, and the grounds were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the bonsai exhibit and George the peacock! Lots of trails to hike, and everything is very well maintained. The glass chapel is gorgeous as well.
This place is beautiful. I definitely recommend it! I had such a great time and an excellent walk through the place. It's enormous. Buy food yo feed the fish. Treat yourself to lunch while your there too! The only thing I wish is that the gift shop had little souvenirs with their name on it. They just had items you could buy anywhere. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes!
Came for the Christmas lights, what a display! Whoever does this clearly worked very hard to make it absolutely breathtaking! I would love to come back in the summer to see the flowers. The staff and volunteers really made the difference... From the parking lot too the ticket booth to the free hot chocolate! Thank you for such a wonderful time!
We took our grandchildren to see the Christmas lights. It was really beautiful. We rented a golf cart for the tour. The driver was very informative. We learned a lot from him. The grandchildren, ages 5 & 3, enjoyed the ride and all the displays. The wait getting in was the worse thing about it. All in all it didn't cost that much between admission and golf cart rental.
Amazing visit, I would definitely go again and recommend it to all travelers. The chapel itself is free to go to if you just want to see that but I would recommend seeing all of it. I think the gardens are even prettier than the national park itself! So definitely try to go if you can
