Not overly impressed. First, It was difficult to understand the driver on the PA system. Next, the drive down to the lake was relatively boring as (with the exception of the 1st 1/2 mile or so) you're basically passing Fast Food Joints, Smoke Shops and Used Car lots.... (you get the idea..) There was some early interest to the surroundings, but again, with a cruddy PA system, It was hard to understand. And finally, the engine compartment wall, is radiating heat directly to the seats behind the driver, which was extremely uncomfortable, and my wife nearly collapsed from heat exhaustion towards the end of the trip.
$18 per adult. Took a tour down central and out to Lake Hamilton. Thankfully did not get wet from entry into lake. Ducks are well maintained and Captain Michael was very knowledgeable. He states that he actually researches his facts and corrects other incorrect facts. I enjoyed his knowledge about the local real estate. Don't forget to tip.
My husband and I went on a Duck tour with his family. As Hot Springs natives who moved away after college, we thought the Duck Tour was the perfect way to spend a morning back in our hometown. If you're looking for an informative, historical tour, you may be disappointed. But our charismatic guide kept us laughing. The boat fumes as we entered the lake were less than desirable, but even that contributed to a great Duck tour memory.

A fun way to spend an hour or so. The lake isn't real exciting but the DUK-W and a lively guide make for a great time. Decent value for money. Everyone tipped,. $5 is about right.
I wrote a polite email to the company after the event, kind of hoping they would at least refund a part of the trip expense, but I never heard back from them.
