the customer service team is the worst I've dealt with in my life. I needed and appointment for a service tech to come out, and the appointment was never placed. I waited 3 days and now I still have to call someone else and set up an appointment.
Bought a washer and dryer 5 months ago. They worked for a while, then started acting up. The dryer is less than ideal, but the washer is almost worthless. It doesn't clean the clothes because no matter the setting or size of the load, it only puts abut 1/2 inch water in the tub. I've had the serviceman out twice. First time he said it was a computer error code on the machine. It worked well for about a week after he was here, then started again. So I called again. The same person came. This time he said the washer would only do very small loads and to use the "bulky" setting. I told him that wasn't true since it worked before. I don't do huge loads, but if I can't get even one set of sheets clean in a load, it doesn't serve my needs. And I didn't pay for a machine that only works in those conditions. So I called again. It was implied that I don't know how to do laundry, then maybe I was using the wrong detergent. Really??? And if one more person tells me all washers are that way due to efficiency settings I'll scream. So I told them do not send the same person out, that I wanted someone who knew what they were doing. This person called the previous person so they could get their "stories" straight, then called me and said if he didn't find fault with the washer I would be charged for a service call. I haven't given up yet. I'll continue to fight the fight.

Store employer admitted I could get a better deal online. Nationwide customer service center not helpful at all.
My experiance with sears up to the last year had been great. But something has changed in that place here are just a few ways they have changed I bought a microwave here on a layaway for $320 got the microwave in and just the convection oven worked so I brought it back they told me first off that even though they had sold me a faulty product that they would not give me back my lawyaway fee then they tell me that even though I have the box and the microwave has never been used and I am in there system that I need to find my receipt for return. I explained that I lost it and finally they said they would let me return it. The lady then told me that I paid for half of my purchase with a sears gift card and I could only recieve half of my money in cash I have never had a sears gift card in my life. At this point I asked to see her manager and he came out and bassically just acted like I was stupid and he further refused to help and told me if the computer tells him that there is nothing he can do and just said "ok" and started walking back toward the tool department. I ended up having to buy another sears microwave even though I didnt want to because they refused to give me my money back. Fast forward 1 month and I bring in two broken craftsman ratchets with lifetime warrantys I first have to wait along with another man line for twenty minutes because the one associate on the tool side was busy building some kind of account with a customer. The man behind me grew frustrated and the associate kept playing it off like he was just about to come over here. Finally he does and I said I know that the man behind me is just checking out get him first becuase I know ratchet repair or even replacement takes a while. He denied that and said someone else would be repairing my ratchet and that he would be right back. He then walks back there for ten minutes and comes back with one of my ratchets that I thought must be fixed he hands it to me and says sorry wr dont make this model anymore and my mananger said we couldnt replace it becuase the model numbers wont match up. I told him craftsman clearly states that a model that is no longer made must be replaced by a comparable model he said there was nothing he could do. So I told him to call his manager and who came out the same one as last time up to his old tricks he said im sorry sir but we cant replace that because its no longer made I grabbed the comparable model off the shelf and told him this was the replacement he said it wasnt then I said so I guess what you are telling me is that somehow the lifetime warranty doesnt apply to this model he said yes it does not apply to that model "ok" and walked away just like last time. Also in between those two incidents i tried to redeem some of what was left on that bogus gift card because I had bought a much cheaper microwave I picked up a few tool sets and brought them up to the front counter after waiting in tools for nearly 30 minutes to check out. I asked the lady up front to check on the surprise points in my account and to deduct them from the purchase she said she would and the. Said if you would like to save 10 dollars all you have to do is apply for a sears credit card I said sure that sounds fair and by the way while waiting in her line a man became furious understanably because apperantly she had promised to hold his receipt for him then she sqid she lost it and could not do his return without his receipt. He left after about 5 minutes very angry. Anyways so i fill out a ton of stuff on the little computer thing asking me all kinds of questions and finally she says alright if you could just do that one more time at this point the seven people behind me in line start staring me down understably because it would take so long again little did I know I was filling out a a second appllication for a different credit card that could only be used in store. After all that she says good news your approved You didnt save 10 though you saved seven and i forgot to use your point also this purchase was made with you new card which she never told m
