This is a great venue, and very conveniently located. Parking is easy and free. The building is big, and can accommodate many large events.
I had the honor of working in housekeeping here for five months and just before my sixth month I was fired by Curtis Franklin for bogus reasons . Over a thousand dollars was taken from my pay for various things such as insurance and right before I was able to use it I was fired. The day before I was fired, I went to Curtis Franklin and complained that I was being harassed by another employee and he fired me. I worked hard even prevented a riot to protect the children at a very crowded basketball event. I have hundreds of witnesses to attest to this. Due to my rejection of Mr Franklin's sexual advances such as " I'm having a get together tonite cc and a lot to drink. I am even going to have a stripperpole,can you dance or let me fix your pants you missed a loop" Mr Franklin even pulled a gun on me in the breakroom because he was mad that he got a female boss and took it out on me. Terri Jeans and other winess named Sean told me that he said that he was going to blow my head off. I asked Mr Curtis was the gun necessary on a city job and he said to me,"You better act like you didn't see that". Because i needed my job, I did just that and was rewarded with a gift card for my hard work and was fired one week later . Many employees are afraid to lose their job so they say nothing. Mr Curtis keeps up dissention between employees by constantly gossiping and then pretends that it's the employees . I have witnesses and audio that I ask him not to talk about people behind their backs and he fired me the next day . He stated the reason was three no call and no shows. If I did not call it was because my phone was down and I physically came in to inform him in person except once. At a later time I will further disclose . I was loyal and faithful but due to my excellence and professional manner he was threatened by me unnecessarily. I was there to warn, watch and serve. I hope the money they took which is over a thousand dollars will be reimbursed. DONT USE YOUR DEBIT CARD PLEASE! ALWAYS CASH!
Nice arena. Very clean. Bathrooms have tons of stalls. Concessions are overpriced, but what's new
Excellent assembly arena. Clean and well lit with plenty of parking. Some parking takes a walk to got to.
