It is our 3 yr anniversary and we are from Shreveport, La. It's our first time at a b&b and we where disapointed. We came on a Fri and Sat. We stayed in the sweetheart room. The bath was tiny, the bed was rock hard, the pillows could knock you out they are so hard. The walls are so paper thin you can hear the bar next door and they don't stop there music until 2am. You can hear the persons TV from the other room. We had a spa pkg and I thought with massage tables set up in the next room we would be getting them done here. But that is just for show which is stupid. The spa place they sent us to was good besides the receptionist was really rude.
Renee is WONDERFUL!! She made our 11th wedding anniversary so memorable. My husband and I stayed the weekend of May 22, 2010. I have to admit I have always been afraid to stay at a bed and breakfast. I am not keen on the idea of feeling like I am staying in a stranger's house. We were so comfortable there! Every room had it's own bathroom. Champagne on arrival. Gourmet breakfast! Renee can cook!!! She even coordinated our couple's massage on the lake and lovely dinner afterwards. We even used the gameroom. We had a great time! We will definitely go back!

Amber, we had such a great time on our four day weekend at Butler Manor. You have to have had training as a master chef because those breakfasts that you cooked and served were outstanding! Our "Sweetheart" room was most excellent and strategically placed so we had access to everything in the place with a lot of convenience. A big plus for us was that we got to meet the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Strawn, two of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and their only desire was that we were happy with our accommodations. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great weekend!
