Very good food. I had the 6 oz filler and my wife had snapper Florentine. Both were cooked to perfection, served hot and fast. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.

The service is good and the food is acceptable. The steaks are better than the seafood which is often served swimming in sauce. The reason for the low marks is twofold - the price and the facility. I'm not sure that a steak, as well grilled as they are at BackPorch Grill, can be worth as much as they charge, but I suppose that one pays for the setting/location. While the owners have invested in a new back porch area a year or two ago, a lot more work still needs to be done on the inside so that the place looks like a decent restaurant rather than a run down fast food place. The evening we were there, their over-the-grill exhaust fan must not have been working because the room was filled with smoke. In fact, we decided to leave because the wait was long and we risked having to sit in a smokey room.
Very nice atmosphere along the lake. Nice waitress and service. Food was not at all worth the price. The rib-eye was not quality meat and dry. For the price I believe we should have had quality steak. Meat taste like it was bought at Walmart.
We had the lobster ravioli. It was delicious BUT we had exactly 4 raviolis on the plate topped by 2 shrimp. How could anyone get full on that??
