Fun place with a great atmosphere. The chicken sandwich, grilled, with the works is fantastic. I also had the bean and ham and sausage and rice soup, which surprisingly was very good, with a little bit of kick to it. And the gumbo soup was also very tasty and well prepared.
My wife and I and group of friends gave it a try one evening none of us had been. Well we wanted peel and eat shrimp, they were out of that, some else ordered an item they were out. I said Taco Salad, oh my Lord it had so much stuff piled on it that chips were soggy, ton of lettuce, chili, I could not eat it. Drinks were great! But food not a winner! Service was bad as well. Chalk it up I guess.
Was shocked at service and food last night. Understand waitress was new but she was too worried about talking to kitchen staff then waiting on customers which might be why we had no rice in our red beans and rice. There were 4 in our party and nothing but the raw oysters were good.
Went there with my family. Heard food was good. Very disappointed and the music playing on what I was told some type of circuit was FILTHY!! It was MF this and F that. HORRIBLE. Don't take your family there
for sure. My food wasn't terrible but also wasn't great or even good. Won't be going back.
The atmosphere is fantastic. The steaks are unbelievable. Go. Have a steak, you'll be happy you did. Out-F@&*ing-Standing service!
