Great home cooked meal. Out of way mom and pop restaurant/diner. Friendly staff, great menu and good food. Had the patty melt with onions. Good burger. Down home feel as the restaurant is a converted home. Good prices and easy to get in and out of. Will be back.
Charming little hole in the wall. Loved the decor & music. Waitress was very friendly. Food came out in a timely manner, was piping hot & just let me say wow! Huge portions & easily one of the best country fried steaks I've ever eaten. From the large mason jars of sweet tea to the bread, everything was delicious. Would highly recommend & would definitely come again on future trips to Hot Springs.
This place is deceiving. It looks like a plan boring restaurant from the front. But it is the cutest, coziest, warm little place. Me and my daughter went for breakfast while on our trip during christmas time so it was very festive and vintage. The staff was extremely friendly and atenttive. The food was great! Very grandma's kitchen type of food which is what everyone wants in the morning. And to top it off, me and my 8 year old daughter ate for less than $15 (without tip) and we were stuffed. We will defiantly come back and would recommend this to anyone in the area!
FIRST time there today after seeing good reviews. The place is very nice. However when I walked in I stood at the front waiting to be seated and more than one waitress saw me yet ignored my presence? Finally once seated I stated I didn't know it was "seat yourself" she replied "o yeah everybody knows that"...uh..no, not everyone. I would suggest someone to greet patrons at the front. The food was good and served in timely manner. It seemed that the restaurant catered more toward perhaps it's "regulars" and not as much to us "possible" new patrons. I didn't receive the friendly customer service one would expect. Overall, it was a decent experience, I'll likely be back and hope service has improved.
Great food! Staff friendly. Came from Phoenix and found this nice authentic American place. Nice clean decor. Great kick start before a long day on historic highway 7. Huge portions. Great experience. Thank you again.
