Oh loved this club. Enter it while walking the street when we heard the live music. The singer's were amazing sang few beautiful songs. Food was amazing with veggie options. A must visit in hot springs.
Everywhere I went during my trip to Hot Springs, the people seemed very nice and hospitable. This was the only instance I felt otherwise. It's my guess that guy wasn't from around there
Went there after a wedding reception. Bartender refused to serve us, which I completely understand. I probably would have too. So we left and I realized I had left my suit jacket in there. Came back in to get it, asked if anyone had seen it. I found it under the stool I was sitting at at the bar. As I was being escorted out, one of the workers told me he found my suit jacket. I turned to look and he was holding a bar rag in my face.
The entire place feels like a relic of the past. According to their pamphlet, the place used to be frequented by old time Prohibition Era mobsters during their winter vacations. Most famous of these patrons was Al Capone. Old woodwork everywhere and cool momentos on the wall made for a very cozy feel.
Our bartender was a young guy, Very personable, and looked like he walk right out of the 20's! He made us feel at home right away! The live band along with the historical richness of the bar was the Perfect Setting to our evening.
Nice place to hang out. Live music was the best part. A lot of historical information inside and antique items. One helpful tips of you are sitting by the door during the cold months like Dec you are not gonna like it.
My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Hot Springs and found this place on Bathhouse Row. Fantastic. I loved the place so much that I insisted we go back again the next day. The staff were nice, especially the bartender, and the food was great. The prices were a bit steep but that's to be expected in a tourist town. Honestly though, even with that considered, I think the quality and even the quantity of the food warranted such a price.
I -highly- recommend checking out the Ohio Club.
