We had such a great visit at the Arlington. The check in process was quick and easy and the staff was very knowledgeable on the history of the hotel. It's location is an added bonus. It's within walking distance of several museums and shops that are a must when you visit Hot Springs. We WILL be staying at the Arlington next time we visit. The picture is of our view from our room.

This is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of downtown Hot Springs and close to bathhouse row. It is important to remember this is not a new, luxury hotel so expectations should be adjusted. The room was clean and just the perfect size for what we needed. Absolutely no complaints. There are a number of negative reviews saying this hotel is run down. Those reviews are very misleading. Yes, there may need to be some minor maintenance (painting, updating curtains) but the hotel is fantastic considering it is historic. The pool and hot tub are great for evening conversation as is the what seems like nightly music in the lobby/bar. If you are in town on Sunday, don't miss the brunch at the hotel restaurant!

Great central location to everything. Everything is walking distance to what the town offers. They have spa services, dining, and bar. The Air Conditioning and Heating is still original, so that takes some getting use to. Winter you will be comfortable and summers you might have to use the fan. They are slowly rehabing the hotel. You stay here for the experience.

We stayed in a "historical" room, which was much more up to par than I thought. Very nice bed. Just don't expect perfection-this is a historical experience with a small taste of luxury. The lobby and dining area is also the place to be on the weekend when the band's playing. Great atmosphere! Well worth the stay. The Bathhouse Row starts across the street!

After 3 different rooms, plumbing issues and general filth we were upgraded to a suite. We'd driven 5 hours for a romantic Christmas stay at the famous hot springs. We had the worst hotel rooms I have ever seen . Obviously hadn't been cleaned in months. Staff were unconcerned. I have photos of the rusted fixtures and grime in bathroom. Peeling wallpaper unpolished dirty tables. It was ecpensive and we paid extra for mineral water in our room. Tried to book a massage and bath in spa as our tub was old and disgusting but no one answered the phone there or at front desk. Asked several employees where to eat not one recommended the restaurant's in their own hotel. In short hotel should be condemned.
