This is a great place to stay! Friendly staff, nice decor, free breakfast (sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, cinnamon rolls etc.) Warm salt water pool, fitness center and a gas fire place out side for those chilli nights with your loved one. 2 thumbs way up from me. Tell them Caleb sent you!
Some of the reviewers really liked the breakfast. It looked nice and was very clean. But I personally did not care for the food. I'm used to eating real bacon and eggs every morning. These were powdered eggs and pre prepared microwave bacon and sausage patties. But we didn't stay at the holiday inn for their food. So it didn't bother me.
Clean, comfortable and quiet room. The hot breakfast was okay but it could have been better.
4 stars because hotel itself and linens were super clean and the price was very affordable. Minus one star because of the dirty Jacuzzi jets ( but I was kind of expecting that). I would have given 5 stars if they surprised me by actually cleaning the jets.
Hair, stains, hair, stains and more HAIR on our bed sheets that’s what we got not one night but TWO nights in a row (see pics)! The first night we saw HAIR + Stains on the sheets the lady at the front desk came up with new sheets and began to change them until we all noticed those new sheets had HAIR on them also. She went down and stated she went through a few sets to find some that did not have hair/stains on them and then came back up and put the sheets on. The next night we came back to the room and once again the sheets had HAIR + Stains on them. We informed a new lady at the front desk and this time she brought up sheets saying she could NOT change the sheets and that we would have to do it ourselves. Out of all the years I’ve been a member of IHG and staying at properties all over this country I’ve never had to PAY to change sheets but I guess there’s a first for everything! We starting to change the sheets and noticed she brought up the WRONG SIZE sheets for a King bed. So she brought up another set and DID NOT take the old set back! The new set ONCE AGAIN had stains and HAIR on them! She apologized brought up another set and ONCE AGAIN LEFT all the old sets with us (see pics)! We finally had new CLEAN sheets on the bed after having to make the bed 3 times ourselves to get that and a HUGE pile of old HAIRY sheets on the floor!
We normally go to Hot Springs every year for a little Spa Getaway and have stayed at the hotel twice! The first time (last year) we had no major issues, room was clean (for an HI Express), staff was courtesy, and the property was well kept. This year was TOTALLY different so much so that we will NOT be staying at this property again when we return to Hot Springs!
The two ladies put out the food and took a 30 minute break before opening the doors for the people waiting. Food wasn't hot and the two workers sat and talked for another 15 minutes before they did anything about the food. Coffee was cold.

We stayed in one of the king hot tub suites. It was clean, spacious, and modern. The Jacuzzi tub did spew black stuff but I had a feeling that was going to happen, that's why I filled it up and checked it first. I brought my own bleach to clean the jets.
I don't usually give bad reviews.
The room was clean and fully stocked. And the employees were great went above and beyond anything we asked or needed.
The Hair Hotel
The next morning we went down to talk to Tasha Smith-General Manager about our issues, this (lack of conversation) was the icing on this “HAIRY” cake as to why we will NEVER return! Tasha immediately stated that she knew about our issues and that she will be adding points to our stay. I was like okay that’s cool but can I tell you what happen? She literally the WHOLE TIME KEPT CUTTING ME OFF MID-Sentence while I was trying to tell her and provide some little pointers of how they could easy/cheaply eliminate this issue! She went on a verbal rant telling us how she’s worked in the industry for certain (who even cares) amount of time and that she’s never heard people complain about HAIR. I told her I’m not sure what type of people she is use to dealing with but we like CLEAN sheets because we’re clean people. At that point I smiled told her I’m going to get done with my sentence without you interrupting me, finished my sentence, asked for her card and left!
So… If you’re not really one to care about clean sheets or rude and think they’re privileged small town hotel managers then this is the property for you! If you’re someone who frequents loads of IHG properties like we do and know what they are SUPPOSE to be like and value CLEAN sheets and excellent customer service then DON’T STAY HERE!
